Founder Shimon Hanegbi, known to his students as "Shimi" has been active in Paragliding since 1994.
An avid enthusiast, Shimi's background began as an Air Force engineer.
Holding American and Israeli pilots licenses, and a
FAA license as an airplane mechanic, it is easy to see that Shimi's enthusiasm for the sky did not begin with soaring.
To date, Shimi Hanegbi is Israel's top professional authority when it comes to paragliding in Israel.
With over 1500 hours of professional paragliding flying under his belt,
Shimi's best flight is at 65 km with a 3 hour soar from Zikkron Yaakov to the Sea of Galilee in Israel.
Shimi's highest altitude has been recorded at 3,000 m' from Mt. Babadag in Turkey.
